This Privacy Policy explains how DonorDock, LLC (“DonorDock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information about you as a donor when you use DonorDock-hosted donation pages, sign-up forms, or other giving tools operated on behalf of nonprofit organizations. This policy is written for donors and other end users — not for DonorDock’s nonprofit customers or platform subscribers.
DonorDock acts as a dataprocessor on behalf of the nonprofit organization you are supporting. Thenonprofit organization is the controller of your data and is responsible forhow it is used. Questions about how a specific nonprofit uses your data shouldbe directed to that organization.
When you make a donation or submit a form through a DonorDock-hosted page, we may collect the following information:
Your information is used for the following purposes:
Opt-In: If you provide your phone number on a DonorDock-hosted donation page or sign-up form, you will see an opt-in checkbox with the following language:
“By checking this box, I consent to receive recurring SMS messages from [Nonprofit Organization] including fundraising appeals, events, and organizational updates. Up to 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt-out. View terms and privacy.”
This checkbox is unchecked by default. You must explicitly check this box to consent to receive text messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a donation.
Message Types: If you opt in, you may receive text messages from the nonprofit organization you are supporting. These messages may include fundraising appeals, donation acknowledgments, event information, and organizational updates.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies by nonprofit organization, up to a maximum of 10 messages per month.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You may reply HELP for assistance.
SMS Data Sharing: Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent records will not be sold, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Your opt-in data may be shared with DonorDock’s SMS delivery service provider solely for the purpose of delivering messages on behalf of the nonprofit organization you are supporting.
DonorDock shares your information only in the following circumstances:
With the Nonprofit Organization: Your contact information and donation details are shared with the nonprofit organization you are supporting, as they are the controller of your data.
With Service Providers: DonorDock uses third-party service providers to process payments, deliver SMS messages, and operate the platform. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to deliver these services and are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
As Required by Law: DonorDock may disclose your information when required by law, legal process, or governmental authority.
Merger or Acquisition: If DonorDock is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
DonorDock uses industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Payment information is processed by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. DonorDock does not store full payment card details.

DonorDock-hosted donation pages may use cookies to support functionality such as session management and fraud prevention. These cookies are not used to track your activity across unrelated websites or for advertising purposes.
DonorDock's donation platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
DonorDock may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL and are effective immediately upon posting.
