Throughout DonorDock’s history, we have never raised a customer’s price. We also provide a platform with a no additional platform fees for DonorDock’s online giving platform. Rather than raise our prices, we decided to innovate and create DonorDock’s TipBack feature.
DonorDock TipBack provides your donors with the opportunity to extend their generosity by providing a tip to DonorDock when completing an online donation. This is completely optional for the donor.
So how does this help you? Not only do we have no platform fees, we want to use part of the tip to help YOU offset your non-optional Stripe processing fees! 🙌
DonorDock will take part of the tip and reimburse your Stripe fees; resulting in additional revenue for you!
Check out different donation scenarios below. You will see in Example 3, the charity comes out ahead if a tip is given and DonorDock reimburses the transaction fees without additional platform fees for the organization.
Unlike other online giving providers on the market, we do not charge additional platform fees for online donations. Enabling our TipBack feature allows us to continue investing in our online giving platform while adding value to our customers.
Nonprofits currently pay processing fees to Stripe. However, these fees are not related to DonorDock. These fees are a part of processing any online financial transactions.
Unlike DonorDock, many of our competitors charge a platform fee in addition to the non-optional transaction fee.
In comparison to our competitors, DonorDock’s TipBack allows the donor to opt in to tip DonorDock, keep our platform affordable, offer no platform fees, and provide reimbursement of the transaction fees.
Nothing at all! You will see a separate, immediate transaction in Stripe from DonorDock covering the transaction fees after a donation of a gift that included a DonorDock TipBack*.
